Anglesey Time Attack Take Two

Day two of Anglesey didn't bring the heat of the previous day. Instead the rain was back and the coats were on, but that didn't do anything to dampen the spirits of the Time Attack pit garages.

The drivers skills were being put to test in a different way for Sunday, as they tackled the Coastal Circuit, boasting the Corkscrew used by the drift cars to show off their sideways skills over the weekend.

The rain held off for the morning, and when it did come it wasn't as bad as feared.

Very few people opted for 'wet' tyres for qualifying, and Bo set another speedy time before a heart stopping moment when power was lost, and the Astra VXR had to be pushed back to the pits.

AET Motorsport were on hand as technical support, and the problem m was soon found and patched up ready for the final.

However the faulty alternator was not quite completely fixed, meaning Bo had no power steering for the whole of the final.

it was a huge relief to see Bo's car back at the front of the pit lane and in true Bo style, he went out and set a flying lap that proved unbeatable despite the lack of power steering.

After the race Bo revealed he had been having issues:

"I've been having handling problems all weekend. Unfortunately it wasn't something that could be fixed over the weekend, but it will be before Snetterton."

"AET Motorpsort have been working on the car for the last two weeks to make sure we get the best performance from the Borg Warner EFR Turbo and the MoTec M400 management system for the final rounds at Snetterton."

As for Snetterton Bo feels there is a chance for him to win his third championship.

"This season has been one of development for the car. There have been so many changes over the winter it has taken all of this time to get the setup just right. Snetterton will be where the car is the best it has ever been."
